I am looking for fur on sheepskin, my husband is disabled and he is in bed a lot and it would be for his pressure point on his elbow. Have done leather work many years ago. Still have my leather tools. Would like to order scrap. Thanks

    Hello –
My name is Drew and I am looking to get into leather working. I recently started to refinish vintage axe’s / hatchet and most do not have a protective sheath anymore. I have purchased a few from Shelter tools, but thought I might just make my own. I was wondering if you could give me a list of basic tools I would need / type of leather that would make the best sheaths? I work in Portland on monday – friday and don’t know when I would be able to make it into the shop with your store hours. I figure I can get started by purchasing on line.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Drew
